Twitter suspended Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Sunday morning.
Twitter made the decision after she posted this harmless tweet asking Champagne Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez if she has apologized to Governor Ron DeSantis yet.
Twitter has again suspended the personal account used by Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene — this time permanently.
The account "@mtgreenee," was cited for repeated violations of the social media platform's COVID-19 misinformation policy, Twitter spokesperson Trenton Kennedy told USA TODAY.
In a statement released Sunday, Greene called Twitter "an enemy to America."
"That’s fine, I’ll show America we don’t need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies," she posted to her account on social media platform GETTR.
USA TODAY reached out to Greene for comment.
Hopefully, former President Trump's soon to launch #TruthSocial media platform can help preserve some of the freedoms that we continue to lose by the day.
